• Trailing Begonia grow well in sun and shade, and the trailing habit makes it perfect for growing in pots and hanging baskets.
• For best results keep plants well watered, and feed fortnightly with a high-potash fertiliser to prolong flowering.
• Begonia plugs can be planted straight into containers and baskets but are best potted on first and grown on in warm, frost-free conditions.
• The Begonia plants can then be transplanted into their final containers once they have increased in size.
• When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise the plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days.
• Choose a sunny or semi-shaded position that is protected from strong winds - a cold frame is ideal.
• Feed and water plants frequently throughout the growing season taking care not to over-water, as this will cause new Begonia flower buds to drop.

If you have any specific delivery instructions, please let us know - there's an option to enter a short message for the courier at the checkout.

Smaller, lighter, single-item orders may be sent through the post with Royal Mail - in which case no tracking is available.

Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.
