Introducing Sempervivum 'Gold Nugget' - a standout in the world of Chick Charms and garden succulents as a whole! Delivering extraordinary impact from very little effort indeed, these hardy little succulents change colour with the seasons in the most astonishing way.
The dynamic painter's palette of colour starts in spring, with yellow leaves edged in fiery red, evolving to lime green for summer days, reaching autumnal yellows and reds in fall, then displaying crimson tones in winter.
Plus, this variety is so tough and undemanding, thrives in full sun, copes happily in even poorer soil conditions, and once established, is incredibly drought tolerant - just the thing for hot, dry spots or forgetful waterers! They are also fully hardy too!
Ideal for pots, alpine troughs, gravel gardens or tucked into nooks in walls or rockeries - and it looks fantastic grouped with other Sempervivums or drought-tolerant plants like sedums and dwarf grasses.
Each rosette will multiply over time, forming dense clusters that smother weeds and create a real feature. The architectural form and fiery colours mean it looks stunning even in the depths of winter, when most other plants have gone to sleep.

Smaller, lighter, single-item orders may be sent through the post with Royal Mail - in which case no tracking is available.
Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.
