Description
An easy to grow garden plant with year-round foliage interest - and with one of the best foliage colours you'll see, Photinia 'Little Red Robin' certainly deserves the plaudits it receives!
This is a relatively new cultivar with smaller leaves, leading to an even bolder and brighter red glow as the new leaves emerge across summer. What's more, as this is grown in a stylsh lollipop standard form, it's even more of a year-round focal point and feature too.
Skilfully crafted across four years, this unique format adds height to the garden, yet is just as easy to maintain with a simple trim to shape in autumn. Grow in full sun for the best red foliage colour and it will glow on those long summer nights. Whilst it will fade to darker green somewhat over winter, it retains a mix of red tones all year.
Plus, this is an exceptional gift plant, and we do all the wrapping for you, in a brown hessian bag with a green fabric bow.
Supplied as an established standard plant, roughly 70-80cm tall, in a 3L pot, ready to plant or gift.

- Standard Photinia can be clipped up to 3 times a year to encourage the new red leaves to develop.
Care Information
- Also known as the Christmas Berry, photinia 'Red Robin' grows best in fertile, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
- A sheltered position is best as the new growth can be scorched by drying wind or late frosts. Regular watering can cut down the risk of scorching.
- Really easy to care for, any pruning is minimal, and is usually just formative. Carried out before mid-summer, it allows new growth to harden off before winter.
