Pale blue flowers that look equally as good cut in a vase as they do in the ground – get beauty in the garden and the home with unique Agapanthus ‘Golden Drop’.
Having been first introduced at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show back in 2012, these hardy perennials differ from many other Agapanthus, as they boast a compact nature.
Evergreen, hardy, and low-growing, delightful green strap-like leaves are edged in gold and remain in place regardless of the month, while short stalks burst up to display light blue flowers in May and June.
These sturdy stems, which stretch up to 40cm once established, allow the blooms to be easily cut and included in a vase display – just be sure to plant plenty to share with your family and friends!
Moving into autumn, decorative seed heads emerge to produce a further layer of interest. For best impact on your garden, plant these Agapanthus en masse through a sunny bed or border, or by itself in a planter for a showpiece on the patio.
Supplied as a set of three established plants in 9cm pots, ready for planting.
