Whether you're looking to add a graceful feature to a patio pot or a stunning focal point to your borders, this hardy perennial ticks every box.

The key to its charm lies in its exquisite feathered plumes, which appear in late summer and last well into autumn. These silvery-white flower spikes sway gently in the breeze, creating a calming elegance that enhances any outdoor space.

And the best part? Even when not in bloom, its evergreen, finely textured foliage forms a neat, architectural clump that provides interest all year round.

Unlike some larger pampas varieties, 'Tiny Pampa' is a joy to grow and care for. Compact in nature, it rarely exceeds a height of 60cm, so is perfect for those smaller spaces of the garden.

Top Tips

This grass makes an excellent architectural feature and can also be used effectively for informal screening.

Care Information

To plant, firstly water your potted plant well.
Dig a hole a little deeper and 3 x wider than the nursery pot.
Remove the plant from its pot and tease out some of the roots.
Place your plant in the hole at the same level at the pot then refill the hole with the earth removed.
Firm in the soil with your heel, avoiding the root ball and water well before adding a mulch around the base of the plant.
Water regularly until established.

Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.
