Muscari armeniacum, better known as the 'Grape Hyacinth', produces immensely pretty, purple-blue, bell-shaped flowers in clusters of poker-like heads, almost like upside-down bunches of grapes.
Resembling a miniature Hyacinth, each individual flower is tipped with white and look stunning contrasted against long, narrow and deep-green leaves when blooming in April and May.
Free-flowering, vigorous and very easy to grow, 'Grape Hyacinths' rapidly naturalise and spread by seed, creating a sea of blue in the spring. They're the perfect bulb for all, including inexperienced gardeners, or those with less time on their hands.
Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come.
For best impact, plant this variety in borders groups or pots. You could even plant these beauties alongside bright yellow daffodils for a wonderful contrast.
Supplied as a pack of 75 bulbs size 7/8, ready to plant out in autumn.
