Description

Bring the Mediterranean to your garden with Citrus Satsuma. Loved for their glossy, deep green leaves and fragrant white blossoms in spring, which attract pollinators and fill your garden with a sweet, citrusy scent.

As the seasons progress, you�ll be rewarded with plump, juicy fruits that ripen in late autumn to early winter. These easy-to-peel satsumas are not only tasty but also rich in vitamin C, making them a healthy treat for you and your family.

This low-maintenance and compact tree thrives in well-drained soil and benefits from regular watering.

Citrus trees thrive in sunny, sheltered positions, making them ideal for growing in pots and containers. Place your tree in a warm, bright spot outdoors from late March to October, then bring it inside as the weather cools. The transition indoors can even trigger another flush of flowering.

As with all Citrus products, make sure to apply our Blooming Fast Citrus Feed every time you water this plant while in active growth.

Care Information

Citrus tend not to thrive in centrally heated homes, so give plants a treat and transfer them outside in summer to make the most of the available sunshine - but remember they are not frost tolerant so will need bringing under cover if cold nights threaten.
In summer, water freely - ideally with rainwater, while in winter you can reduce the amount, allowing the surface to partially dry out before watering again. Always allow excess water to drain away.
Overwatering in winter is a common problem with citrus trees, so try to keep them on the dry side.
Only minimal pruning is required to reshape or remove dead or damaged shoots.
