Junior Buyer
Eventus House, Market Deeping

The Role

The junior buyer will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to help deliver commercially successful product ranges while ensuring stock availability, quality, and value for customers.


Key Responsibilities


  • Management of specific product categories including reserve management
  • Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers.
  • Assist with range planning and seasonal product selection
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain an in stock model whilst monitoring stock value.
  • Analyse sales performance and market trends
  • Maintain accurate product and supplier information
  • Liaise with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to support product launches and promotions

We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a buying, purchasing, or commercial support role
  • Experience working within a seasonal business would be highly beneficial
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator with good relationship-building abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Desirable

  • Horticultural knowledge or experience would be an advantage
  • Experience within retail, e-commerce, or garden-related sectors

Salary

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Team Leader (Plant Production)
Surfleet. Spalding

The Role

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within your designated area, ensuring orders are processed efficiently, quality standards are maintained, and your team is engaged and performing at their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising, motivating and supporting a small team of nursery staff
  • Managing pick and pack operations to meet daily dispatch targets
  • Overseeing and maintaining the potting machine to ensure smooth operation
  • Identifying and implementing efficiency improvements, including automation-driven processes
  • Monitoring output, workflow and team performance
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance across your area
  • Providing hands-on operational support when required


What we'd like from you

Essential:

  • Experience in a commercial nursery, horticultural, warehouse, or production environment
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a small team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis

Planning Assistant
Eventus House, Market Deeping

The Role

An excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual who enjoys working with systems, schedules, and data in a fast-paced environment. The Planner / Scheduling Assistant will play a key role in supporting operational planning, raising Purchase Orders, and maintaining accurate system administration across the business. Working closely with internal departments and suppliers, you will help ensure products, schedules, and processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control stock levels and monitor weekly sales.
  • Raise and process Purchase Orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Scheduling product in to maintain an in-stock model.
  • Set up of and maintenance of product within our database
  • Liaise with suppliers and buying team regarding orders and schedules
  • Manage B2B stock availability
  • Support continuous improvement of planning and administrative processes
  • Ensure data accuracy across purchasing and scheduling systems

What we'd like from you

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working with systems and data.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative, planning, scheduling, or purchasing support role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good IT and systems administration skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and other business systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable

  • Experience working within supply chain, logistics, retail, or e-commerce environments
  • Understanding of stock control or operational planning processes
  • Experience in a fast-paced or seasonal business environment

Salary

£26,500.00-£30,000.00 pa
